Like most couples, we had some very clear visions of what we wanted for our wedding, but were unsure of what questions to ask to vendors to make it happen, and what to expect for costs. Our wedding was truly the best day of our lives. With several getting ready locations, a church ceremony, then a reception in a new location (nevermind 200 guests), we knew logistics would be a challenge. I had always dreamed of getting married somewhere non-traditional, in the “middle of nowhere”, but I also knew that would make everything twice as hard- especially since I was also in another state the entire time- so I sought out a planner & coordinator. My now husband and I have no eye for decoration, and struggle when it comes to details. The big things came easy to us-- the venue, the food, etc. But when it came to table settings, how to decorate the venue, etc. we were totally lost! Angela took our various ideas and helped solidify them into a cohesive vision. She gave us ideas of things we could do to add more decorations, while still aligning with our minimalist, vintage vision. Leading up to the wedding she coordinated with all the vendors to create a "day of" timeline that she sent to us two days before the wedding and ensured that every vendor knew when and where they needed to be. On the day of the wedding, she did everything from coordinating the vendors arrival, to setting up the tables, and adding bits of decoration to various locations I wouldn't have even thought about! She took our huge box of potential decorations and turned it into something truly beautiful, that really matched my husband and my style and vision. The best part is that I didn't have to do any of it-- I could just sit back and enjoy the wedding itself! She also slowly put everything away and even placed all the decorations back in various cars so that by the end of the evening everything was already cleaned up and my husband and I could just leave knowing she'd deal with any last minute things. Angela was truly incredible to work with for our June 12, 2021 wedding at Hardy Farm in Fryeburg, Maine. From day one of working together she was responsive, supportive, and enthusiastic. We had to postpone our wedding a year out from our original date due to COVID-19, and Angela supported us every step of the way! She helped us negotiate with our vendors and create a new plan that worked for everyone involved. Leading up to the wedding itself, Angela picked up our planning and details seamlessly and coordinated so many last minute details with all our vendors. I myself have planned many events (galas) and it was hard for me to let go of control at first, but once I saw how Angela worked I felt completely confident giving her the reins and she pulled off an event we never could have done on our own. Angela was a huge help in planning our wedding. Neither my (now) husband or I were really sure what we wanted, and are both indecisive people. We both love dungeons and dragons, but knew we didn't want a strongly themed wedding. She helped us find the perfect barn in the white mountains and all the vendors she found were great. I have Celiac and she did all the legwork to find a dedicated GF bakery and caterer that understood how to do GF properly. There is no way I mentally could have dealt with so many people saying they can't feed me. She also helped me figure out how to deal with getting married a few years after losing my father. She helped us navigate figuring out if it was safe (not legal, NH had loose rules, but safe) to get married in 2020 and what changes we would have to make. Once I finally stopped freaking out about that it rained on our wedding day. She rearranged things to still be safe but inside, then at the last minute the rain cleared and she managed to get everything moved back outside. The ceremony wasn't where we wanted, but my grandmother had someplace to sit and we were able to do it outside, so the groom, officiant, and I didn't have to wear masks (we were far away from everyone else and in the same bubble or pod or whatever you want to call it). Angela was our rock on our wedding day! She kept everything together and moving forward. There were so many things (all the things?) My wedding day was the most magical and sacred moment in my life, and so much of the amazingness my husband and I felt was due to Angela’s incredible work in helping us plan. We were living on the west coast when we began our planning process, and Angela was instrumental in helping us find and secure vendors for our big day. She was organized, took all of our desires and crazy ideas into consideration, and was incredibly kind to everyone we worked with. Angela was the BEST! I couldn’t have pulled off the wedding day without her! Before the day, we had two face-to-face meetings, which were great to go over details. She brought to my attention so many things I did not think about. She made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process and I knew I had her expertise if something came up during planning. Angela provided my (now) husband and I the exact wedding coordination we needed on our special day. Due to the wedding being a destination event we were only able to meet the weekend before the wedding but even with that short amount of time Angela asked all of the right questions to best understand our needs and expectations. One of the best pieces of advice I can give any bride is to hire a ‘month of coordinator’ and more specifically hire Angela Marie Weddings! Angela and her team are professional, attentive, and easy to communicate with. But most importantly- very well organized! I have no idea how I could have gotten through our wedding without them. The amount of detail that goes into a wedding and specifically a wedding day are overwhelming, but Angela Marie Weddings made sure that every item was taken care of and all that was important to us was executed the way we wanted.
